New hair colour.. sorta

I tried to dye my hair on my own a couple days ago and it didn't go as well as I planned. I never actually had a full-head colouring done to my hair so I didn't know how much I should apply so I didn't use that much, only enough to cover all areas but here's how it turned out:

My face was not blog-ready so this is all you're getting lol. Anyway, I was going for a chocolate/chestnut colour so I used L'Oreal Excellence Creme in Light Brown.

It's a bit redder than what I wanted. I want that colour on the box!! And yes i know that it never turns out that way but still!! >.

I also got the Hello Kitty lipsticks I bought from Jen's blog sale. I kinda went crazy online shopping recently, well not really that bad in money amount total. Some ebay sellers are stupid and don't package everything together but sends it all separetely. What a waste of time I think. The nail stuff I bought all came on a different day even if it's from the same ebay seller. Anyway, I totally forgot about waiting for the HK lippies and I was so surprised and happy when I opened to see that it was them in the lovely package. Also, Jen was kind enough to send a sample of the MUFE primer (which I have bought the full bottle before and loved it.) and a thank you note. She's so sweet. :) If only I can actually find her anywhere else besides her blog sale blog, which I found through a tweet from s2pandapple. Hehe, I totally love receiving packages in the mail, minus my bill. :P

This is the first full on day that I've used the Sally Hansen foundation. So far so good... Oh and my belt is totally not centered xD

ELF Pressed Powder in Caramel
MAC MSF Medium Deep
NYC Sunny Bronzer
ELF Blush in Glow
ELF Blush (from contouring and bronzing powder duo)

I think if I didn't set my face with Fix+, it wouldn't have been so oily. For some reason, Fix+ is only good for some minutes on me, then makes me oily right after.

I need to really stop...

Mike and I went to go to my school to pick up my sign in number for OSAP because they changed the stupid sign in thing. We meant to leave early, as in I was planning to be there by 9. But, things came up and didn't leave until 12:30. So before I left, I ended up getting sucked into eBay shopping again and I bought some artificial nails, artificial nail cutter/clipper, rhinestones, and nail glue. Then, we ended up going to Square One because really, where else can we go? We ate some Toonie Tuesday KFC and popcorn chicken, bumped into Melissa <3, bought 2 belts and 2 necklaces from Ardenes, wasted time at Dollarama and ended up finding a Sally Hansen foundation ($2!!) and a Sally Hansen cream blush. I read in someone's blog (can't remember who) that she found this in Dollarama, and I doubted that it would be in my dollarama, but hey it was. There wasn't much left though, but I just tried it right now and the pigmentation of the foundation is good, and it feels like I don't need to set it with powder. I can't really test how long it lasts because I'm not going anywhere or do anything else today. Also, I'm in love with the blush. I got this peachy colour called Sunrise and it also sets like a powder blush. Hopefully, the next time I go there, they have more. I will do a proper review of this some other time but my point in this post is that I need to STOP shopping. SERIOUSLY.

Einstein's Riddle: Who owns the fish?

Einstein apparently made this riddle (click here) and only 98% of the population can solve it. Being as bored as I am, I tried solving it and I think I actually did! I don't think Einstein ever announced the official answer. I actually used MS Excel and my colour coding skills to solve it *nerd face*. Try it. :)

Sandals Haul + Picture of the Suzy Shier Wedges + Family Trip/Mom's Birthday

I've been meaning to post this picture but I've been too lazy. :P Here are those wedges I bought from Suzy Shier for about less than $30CAD.

I love how it's perfect for this season and can match anything, especially dresses and skirts which I'm loving right now!

I bought two sandals today (finally) because honestly, I think I only have one pair of black sandals (so sad I know).

This is from Spring Shoes and they were regularly $39.99, and when I went there today, it was marked down to $29.98! I wasn't so sure of this one at first. But the price going down helped me with my decision. I love bargains! :) The flash washed the colour out and these are actually a lot more beige. You can get them in stores or here: http://www.myspringshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/fashion-flats/68981458-schimming/36

I got this for $15 at Walmart. So cheap right? And they're decent for its price, and to be honest, Walmart isn't really the best place to buy shoes. And again, the flash washed the colour out. These are actually a bronzey-gold colour.

If you haven't noticed, I've been into shoes lately (no makeup hauls lately eh :O). And I used to have all my shoes downstairs in the closet by the door entrance of my house, along with my family's shoes (there are 6 of us btw). I would never be able to find the shoes I plan to wear, and I end up wearing the same shoes. So I grabbed all of my shoes from that closet and I was stuck with a bunch of shoes with nowhere to store them in my room. I've been searching online for a solution, but I would rather see these racks/organizers in person. I found one at Walmart for about $9 that can has 20 slots, so at least 10 pairs, but I managed to put some pairs into one slot. I still have some shoes without proper storage and the ones in this organizer are the ones that I would wear the most or are my faves.

Here are also some pictures of that trip to Niagara to go shopping that I took, which was also my mom's birthday.

This is my sister Jasmine chilling on her carseat.

Jamming to my iPod.

We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks in the van (Theodore :D)

We stopped at iHop for some late brunch. Mmm cheesecake in between pancakes with strawberry and whipped cream topping! So divine!

Then for dinner, we went to Peter's at Eglinton to celebrate my mom's birthday. They have really good souvlaki there. And seriously, for $14, look at that serving!!

I hope you guys are all well. :)

MAC Hello Kitty

You're finally mine!! I found this blog sale: http://jenpatricio.blogspot.com/2010/06/first-post-is-blog-sale.html and she was selling MAC Cutester lipstick and also Strayin lipstick. I'm so happy. :)

Glee Finale

Did anyone else watch it? Don't read this if you haven't lol. Oh man, I really thought they would win... But I guess that gives them a storyline for next season. I love the cover for Bohemian Rhapsody and how they showed it at the same time of Quinn's labour. Now that Glee is done and Gossip Girl, I have no show to watch. The Hills is still on for a little while I guess...

What a day!

A super unlucky day for me actually. Why? Because I worked 2pm to 245am for inventory. WTF? I gots moola for but still. ALSO, my contacts irritated my left eye so I took them off and guess what? I don't bring my glasses with me, EVER. So I was blind for about 3 hours until Mike picked up my glasses from my house and dropped it off at my work. :)

Oh and the weather is so CRAP. Where did the sun go???

The poor Geese family...

I forgot to mention one thing about our trip to Niagara. We were on the highway and experienced a slight slowdown and then we found out why: there was a family of geese on the freaking highway! They were in the right side but honestly, the next exit took about a 3 minute drive. I hope those geese are fine. Why the parent geese would lead their kids to the highway is beyond me. Well obviously they do not have the same thinking abilities as humans (most of us anyway lol).

Your opinion please

Which one should I get first:
 NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
or FINALLY start my MAC palette?

I'm home now finally

I went shopping at the outlet mall called Lundy's Lane in Niagara. I ended up spending only about $125. I finally got a brown Coach wristlet (reg. $58), and guess how much it was with tax?? $26CAD. So awesome! And some dresses, skirts, tops, and clothes for Mike. I've been on the hunt for summer sandals but have failed terribly. I might end up getting one of the suggested shoes from ShoeDazzle:

What do you guys think?

SHOPPING. My fingers are crossed...

I am hoping the weather would be a lot nicer by Saturday because me and my family are planning to go to Niagara. I still don't have my passport so if they decide to go to Buffalo, I have to be left behind. It's so sad... I know know, I am getting my passport soon as soon as I get my picture taken lol. Oh well as long as they live me some place that I can shop in, I'm good. :)

Twice the time

I hate how my shower HAD to break the time I can't use my right hand. I've been showering with my left hand only and now I even have to use a tabo (filipino term for this thing that can hold water in). Oh did I mention how hard it is to get dressed and do my makeup? Lol... My wound is slightly healed but still had a bit of blood today when I changed the bandaid. I haven't been really out much so it's not that big of a problem.

PS.This rainy weather is horrible! Sun please come back!

Bacteria-free makeup

I kinda went crazy cleaning my makeup stash after I read on someone's blog (can't remember who) that they just did it. I didn't have those spray nozzle things so I just emptied a really old perfume bottle (the Calgon one that smells like a cupcake with glitters. I don't think it's available anymore but the one I had smelled weird anyway). Of course I washed that first with hot water then I filled it with rubbing alcohol instead. All in all, I used a little less than half the 225ml bottle of alcohol just to clean all my makeup. I should have taken pictures but I haven't charged the batteries for my camera and my room is super messy again. I hope y'all are having a great summer. :)
