6 months

It's been half a year already? Time just flies by when I'm with you. We've been through so much together. We've had our stupid fights and in the end we both give up and even forget what we're fighting about and laugh about it. Most people probably think we're crazy or that I'm super needy and bitchy. But you never cared, you stuck with me through and through and I couldn't ask for anything more. We do talk too much to each other but you're the only one that I can talk to forever. Our old jokes never get old. We would be laughing at the same thing for the longest time and it's like the first time we made the joke. Thank you Michael Andama for everything. BLAH!!! I have the blush too but that doesn't really break me out. I dunno....

Lol so I watched it again today after work.
One of the things i focused on was where Katie Leung was because she was apparently in that movie and I still havent seen her!! UGH!

So there's a major clearout sale at Sears from today til Sunday. It's 40% off on top of red-ticketed prices (which are like cheap already). Then I get my 20% employee discount on top of that. I ended up getting a pair of these really CUTE pink shoes, a big hobo brown bag, and shorts for Jasmine. It wouldve came out over 60 bucks but I got it all for about 33 with tax. Blahh I can't find any pictures online and I'm too lazy to take pictures so... oh well.

It's Ribfest weekend also so Square one has a sidewalk sale. Friggg so much for saving money. Gah tomorrow's gonna be hell. (Well officially later but u know what i mean). Lucky me working 8-2 only... which means I got to sleep now because I have to get up at 6... FML.

This is how it went down!
Mike came to my house earlier than expected because Damon dropped him off. Then we waited for the 61 and got off at Central Library since I had a book on hold there (the 13th tale.) We also got some DVD's for Jasmine (Barney, Elmo, and Baby Einsteins lol). Then we went to square one and passed by Bubble Tease and decided to get a Large Strawberry Iced Green tea with tapioca. We then headed to Arby's to stock up on food so we won't be hungry during the movie. LOL. What I ate that whole day was so unhealthy hahaha oh well. We got to the theatre at 5:30 and we showed the lady our ticket. She thought it was for tomorrow (which it officially is but still she was wrong I was right). Then some lady that looked like a manager said we were way too early. FUCK YOU. I want good seats obviously I'd come early. (more than 6 hours early haha). We were told to come back at around 9 because they won't be letting people in yet until then. Clearly they haven't worked for the other midnight openings for Harry Potter. DOUCHEBAGS. We decided to eat the Arby's food we had and after we finished that, we went to the arcade. I showed my MAD skills in DDR... NOT. HAHA I'm probably one of the only asian you'll get to know that's horrible at it. My feet just are not coordinated. Then some racing game, which I came 4th place and Mike 7th HA. I'm better at racing and fighting games anyway. Try growing up with 2 brothers your whole life lol. So 9:00 took forever to come along but they actually were forced to let people in at 8:50ish because the lobby was so full. And of course people who just fucking got there ran and went ahead people who were there for a longer time. Then they let in their friends. FUCK YOU LITTLE KIDS. They could barely read when Harry Potter came out okay?! Save it for the true fans. I even wore my Harry Potter shirt and Gryffindored my nails!! Kristine came a bit after too and we played with her DS and sang along with my iPod until about 11 (the time they'll let us in the theatre). Mike and I bought the the Transformers combo (large popcorn and large drink) after eating the Arby's. And anything large size is unlimited refills. I'm surprised we didn't shit popcorn haha jokes ewww. Also, if you really know me well or have went to the movies with me more than once, that I put M&Ms with peanuts in my popcorn. It is the fucking bomb okay? It may sound gross but trust me it's good. Ask Mike and Kristine! So on to the movie...

Right when I heard the music, I screamed. The first time they showed Dan's face, I screamed. And again, I screamed. LOL. I can tell you when I screamed but it would probably super repetitive, you get the point. I loved it obviously and it may be my 2nd favourite (after HPPS) because the actors have gotten better at acting, and as far as I hate to admit it, Emma wasn't as bad as before.. FINALLY. I actually haven't read the book in a while and it's a bit rusty but I still remember the overall plot duhhh. A lot of the scenes actually were EXACTLY how I imagined it. For example, when Dumbledore and Harry were about to enter the cave. From the entrance and to the scenery inside, it is EXACTLY how I imagined it. Prof. Slughorn is one of those characters that I didn't put enough effort to imagine and I guess the actor passes up as him. He's very funny actually. As much as I enjoyed this movie, I am quite disappointed at a lot of the stuff they left out. Some of the stuff that are NECESSARY to understand the movie. So the title itself is the Half blood prince right? The movie didn't even show one bit of the trio trying to figure out who the prince is. They just solved it by having the prince say, "I'm the half blood prince." Yeah no shit, explain? Like people who have read the book would know already, but how about those lazy people (sorry if youre one of them) who don't bother to read because it's going to come out into a movie? It's one of those things like, it just is accept it? HAHA. Also, DUMBLEDORE'S FUNERAL. How can you NOT put that in?! One of the most important characters die and they don't even show the funeral for it? I swear there's a whole chapter for it. How about the battle at Hogwarts? WTF is the point of having death eaters enter through the vanishing cabinet if they just walk away? Like oooh scary... but there was a fucking BATTLE in the book. Would they honestly just stroll along Hogwarts without a fight? There WAS a fight but DAVID YATES decided to not add it in because there's another battle scene in the 7th book. Yeah are you stupid? It's a fucking war in the wizard world, there would obviously be continuous battles! If you're gonna have the 7th book into 2 movies, why does it matter anyway?! Of course he does what any other Hollywood director does: focus on the sexual attraction and romance because it "sells." Harry Potter sold millions and millions of dollars in the past movies without that bullshit anyway why start now?! And don't even get me started with Bonnie Wright. Ginny's character is supposed to be lively. She's supposed to show how Ginny has liked Harry for the longest time and now that he feels the same way, there's absolutely no passion in their kiss. Aww come on! Any girl would kill for your fucking position. You could have at least done a better job!!! And since I'm already talking about Harry's love life, what happened to Cho? HAHA no explanations either eh? Anyway I think I'm done ranting... for now. :) Congratulations if you actually read through this and understand what I just wrote. (Y)

old jeans

I had a pair of Guess jeans that has this blue and white snakeskin pattern on it that I NEVER wore. So I turned them into short shorts... Then I had the 2 pieces fabric for leg parts and I didn't really want to throw them away because it's such a nice pattern, I'm just not brave enough to wear it in pants. So I started cutting and was planning to turn it into a bag but I know I wouldn't really use it so I just stared at it for a while and looked at my laptop and it was a perfect fit for my laptop! I happen to be in need of a laptop sleeve but I refuse to pay 20-30 bucks for it. But I really need it because my laptop is badly scratched as it is. I still can't find the AC adaptor for my mini sewing machine and I had no batteries so I just hand sewed it... not the best but meh. I ended up sewing the letter J in pink thread to make it more me. :D (Sorry I didn't take a picture of the jeans before cutting it up, I wasn't really planning on blogging about it but I guess I am now lol.)

So I needed a finishing pressed powder and I read in MUA that the Rimmel Stay Matte one is good and so I went to walmart to get it. I did this during the last 10 mins of my break... I thought I knew which one it was and now I realize it's the foundation I got -.- So if anyone wants a compact powder foundation to try let me knowwww. It's good but my face doesn't agree with it apparently lol... It's in Ivory (look at picture) which is just a little bit darker than me but if I blend it enough it's fine with my skin colour. Also in the picture, I had makeup on from 10am for work and I just put this on top... maybe I should try it by itself.... mehhh... but still if you wanna try it... Also you won't be getting the sponge it comes with obviously for hygienic purposes.

makeup update

For my face:

I recently bought St. Ives Moisturizer because I never really put on any moisturizer before but I decided to try it. I read reviews on MUA and they reviewed this one pretty well. Also the price is so cheap so that's another plus. I use it in the morning/before putting up makeup and at night after I wash my face. It "wakes" up my face and it feels nice :)


Then I got the Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer just the other day since my MUFE primer was nada for so long now. It has an orange kind of tint and I was like wtf primers are usually clear right? But it was like 6 bucks so why not? I dont know if it's this product or my face being weird again but my face is sometimes itchy in random spots but anyway I'm gonna try it out for about another week or so and find out.


I use the Physicians Formula Twin Concealer (green and beige)and I really like it because I need both the green (for redness) and beige for blemishes and undereye circles. It never broke me out so that's good. I sometimes use the E.L.F. concealer (I think it's the medium shade) and it smells like oranges (yummm) but the packaging is weird. It's that twisty tube thing and sometimes when I twist it, it doesnt go up but like it comes off idk it's weird but not a biggie. I also sometimes use the Clinique concealer (which I thought was a weird shade of lipstick before haha) and it's really thick but I'm just kinda eery about it since I don't know how old it is. (I think it's been discontinued as well. The picture I put up has different packaging from mine... maybe I shouldn't use it anymore lol...)



Then my Revlon Colortstay foundation in Natural Tan. I bought a new foundation brush because the E.L.F. one I got is horrible after a while. It's like stiff now and you're better off blending with your hands. I got the Ecotools Bamboo Foundation brush which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! It's super soft and super easy to blend foundation with. It's also organic so yayyy! :)

canada day

This is my best one so far because it's the first time I got to ACTUALLY spend it. I would usually just stay at home to do nothing and july 1st is usually an ordinary day for my family so we don't do anything for it but stay home. I went with Mike to civic centre @ 12 because his crew's performing. I wanted to be one of the first to watch him and to support him. He had to dance every hour for 15 minutes from 1-8. And since he is so SMART, the only food he brought was a bag of cheetos. I had a mission with peeps for lunch and eventually ate by 4 and that's around the time I found out Mike hasn't eaten yet so I bought him Quiznos Sub "so not like subway." Anyway, I went back to civic centre to give him his food. Chelle, Belle, Mattie, and Kristine met up with me there. We stayed for the fireworks, which reminded me of the good ol' days in the Philippines during New Year's. I def missed fireworks. Cid, Rheena and her friend also came by. So I get in trouble from the rents because I left my house at 9 and got home at 12. xD It's not my fault there was this accident thing, which I'm not sure if it was an accident but anyway yeah it held traffic and we couldn't leave for a while. Blehhh I'm tired and lacking of sleep night night!

I was walking to my bus stop in the morning and it started to rain... my bus stop has no shelter and it started to pour. Smart jaimee didn't check the tv for weather so I didn't know it was gonna rain so therefore no umbrella or sweater or jacket. This filipino lady stops and asks if I wanted a ride. I was like whatever fine. Haha so much for not talking to strangers right? But hahaha I felt like it so I took the free ride to work. Anyway, Im alive right? It shows there are still good people out there in the world.... And that I'm really dumb sometimes for believing everyone is good. :)

5 months!

The past couple of days were complicated and weird but I'm glad we got through it. It's not so easy being mad at you when you're in front of me. I just can't stay mad. Lol I even forgot what we were fighting about (gaaay i know.) So fine you still wont tell me your damn surprise... I have to wait freaking like 7 hours then another 15 hours... GR. You know how much I hate surprises. And btw, you SUCK at hexic. :) Or maybe I'm just too damn good BRAPPP. (K never again).

PS. I need to get out more often. I feel like such a prisoner from work and home. :(

My HG foundation is MUF's HD Foundation in 128 or 155. IT's like $40 a bottle and that bottle would usually last me 4-5 months (since my mom also uses it sometimes.) I was wondering if there was another foundation I could use that is more affordable, but also reasonably good. I read tons of reviews on MUA and Youtube and I kept reading good reviews on the Revlon Colorstay so I decided to try it. (in Natural Tan) It's actually pretty decent and half the price of MUF's HD. I think the colour's a bit light but I can fix that with a bronzer. It didn't break me out which is a major plus because I think Everyday minerals kind of did (but I still like the finish of it, minus the minor breakout) and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (I ended up using it as an eyeshadow primer, and also Maybelline Pure Makeup, . I recommend it though if you want a foundation that's not overly priced. Also, I found out that you can mix a high end foundation with a drugstore one to last you that foundation longer which I tried doing today but the Revlon seem to have overpowered MUF but that's okay.

• Blending Eye Brush (I haven't really used this that much yet so no comments right now)
  
• Blushing, Bronzing and Blending Brush (really soft, but when I try to blend the color stick with this, it sheds hair. However, I tried another brush and it did the same... :S)
  
• Concealer Brush (I personally find the bristles are really small and if I'm in a hurry, this will not do. But if I do have the time, it works great.)
  
• Defining Eye Brush (same with the Blending Brush)
  
• Eye Shadow Brush (I LOVE this brush. It's so soft, and I don't know if it's just me but the colours seem to be more pigmented when I use this brush compared to my old brush/the brush that came with the e/s.)
  
• Fan Brush (It looks so cute and it's SO soft. They only had the fan brush from the Studio Line so I was forced to pay 3 bucks for this compared to the dollar I paid for the rest of these brushes... -.-)
  
• Foundation Brush (This is AMAZING. It's actually the first foundation brush I've purchased so I really don't have anything to compare it to. But this works well for me so...)
  
• Smudge Eye Brush (I still haven't tried this as well. I haven't really tried smudging makeup for effect yet and so yeah... I will try eventually!)
  
• Total Face Brush (I feel like I can brush my face forever with this. It's uber soft and yeah! I use this for the Mineral Booster and it's great!)
  
  Tools:
  
• Eyelash Curler (I have gone through so many curlers before, and most of them are about 5-10 bucks. This is for a dollar and works better than any of the ones I've purchased before. Obviously I will stock myself up with these (just for hygienic purposes, I never use a curler for more than 6 months or so.)
  
  Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 (these stuff really do smell like Grape!):
  
• Goddess (This is my favourite out of the three I got. Most of my makeup don't have SPF and I know I ought to wear SPF so I won't get skin cancer. At least now my lips are safe. xD)
  
• Malt Shake (I expected this to be more of a nude colour but this is more red than anything. It's still a nice shade though but yeah... The picture online is totally different from this.)
  
• Pink Kiss (This is more of a frost pink and it looks nice on top of my Rimmel Pink Champagne 006.)
  
  Mineral Booster:
  
• Large-Sheer (This apparently makes "the ultimate, translucent 'photo finishing touch' to your makeup." I haven't really taken pictures or videos so I don't know about that. However, it does make my skin silkier and smoother YAY. Also, I love mineral stuff just because it's like food for my skin :D)
  
  All Over Color Stick (Nice orangey smell :D)
  
• Light Beige (A nice light shade. It's great for highlighting. It's also almost the same shade as my concealer so maybe I can use this a concealer since it is the same consistency of a stick concealer.)
  
• Persimmon (This is more of a pinky bronze colour and I think this is my fave out of all of them.)
  
• Pink Lemonade (I have to be careful with this one because if I put too much, my cheeks become so red and takes a while to blend it out because it is very creamy.)
  
  Studio Eyebrow Kit:
  
• medium (I never really cared much about eyebrows until I recently noticed how in the Youtube videos I watch about makeup, they always do put makeup on their brows and I thought why not. And what a difference it made. This shade is the perfect match for my brows but I have to be careful not to put too much or it'll be way too dark. I obviously have never tried other brands for brow kits but I think this one is good.)
  
  False Eyelashes:
  
• Natural Lash Kit (I tried this on and I feel it's almost the same length as my lashes (when curled duh) so it doesn't make that much difference except there's more hair haha. I might get the dramatic ones next time that I can use for special occasions because lashes do make a big impact on your overall makeup. Also, I've read on MUA that the glue sucks so I didn't even bother trying it (I used the leftover I had from my MUF one [which was like 20 bucks for false eyelashes WTH.)
  
  Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder:
  
• Sun Kissed (It will turn orange if you put too much but this is perfect for summer for that "Sun Kissed" look, hence the name. I've been using this more than warm tan since it is summer now.)
  
• Warm Tan (I haven't used this as much but I just swatched it right now and it's a really nice bronze colour.)
  

Overall, I am more than satisfied with these products, except maybe I shouldn't have gotten some of the brushes because I have a feeling they won't be used so much. This would have been REALLY REALLY cheap if not for shipping (which was like 15 bucks -.-). But it's still cheap compared to most makeup you can buy at Sephora, Mac, even drugstores. If it's crap, it's not like you paid 20 for it. 1$ will make you feel less guilty about it :P

Girls Night Out

We finally had one today (twins' basement as usual :P).
No sleepover this time though :(
I was only there for an hour but anyway I'm glad I saw them again. :)

Also, Mikey came over today for a bit. We played Soul Calibur on PS3 and of course I pwned him (and Jesse) mwahahahaha!

I had my laptop sent for repair today because of these following reasons:

• When I turn it on, the fan goes really really fast (like you can hear it) and the laptop gets so hot so quickly. Then after an hour or so it'll just shut down by itself because I guess of overheating.
  
• My CD drive has not been working recently.
  
• I have my SD card stuck in its slot (this one I know is old news and my fault but heyyyy that's okay
  

Luckily, it's under a year still so the 1 year warranty thing let me not have to pay for it... I think?

So I am at my ghetto desktop PC for now wheeee. No webcam fun :(
But then again, I'm still sick and blehhh!
Next week, pray for me so I can be sick-free so I can actually enjoy my summer.

4 months

We actually celebrated yesterday because we're both working today. (I swear there should be a law that says you cannot work when it's your monthsary... lol gay forget i said that).

He was supposed to go to dentist but apparently it was moved to tomorrow because they're renovating something. So the plan was to watch X-men 3 but we got lazy and we are broke. We just stayed at his house. Then we found out that him and his fam are going out to celebrate his little brother's birthday (which was 3 days ago; his name's Corby btw). They invited me to come along and so I did. Mike actually bought me BBT from BR when he found out he didn't have to go to the dentist anymore. I love how a Large Strawberry Green tea bbt with mixed tapioca was waiting for me at his house. :) <3 Then the celebration was also at BR. I wanted to get strawberry again but then again I was like maybe not... so I got peach instead.

We have finally started our Disney movies marathon. Alyssa, Chelle, and Belle came over today (well yesterday whatever) but Bella had to go to work so she just stayed for a bit. Alyssa made us drinks and we decided to order Pizza Hut (which took forever! They kept sending me to call other stores WTF I gave up and just ordered online suckasss you cant deny my order now huh can you *rant done*) I used to be a Vodka girl but I am officially switched to a Gin girl. :) Gin doesn't make me want to throw up like vodka does. I still want to try that banana daiquiri youre talking about alyssa. ;) Next time. (And yes I have a bottle of gin hidden in my room. shh. Maybe Chelle shouldnt have left it with me... It might be empty when she takes it back hahaha... just saying...).

We then decided to go watch a movie. First we were gonna watch Xmen then went to Angels & Demons instead. Silly me didn't know today was the opening night and wondering why the theatre was freaking packed.... THATS why Jaimee! And sorry guys for not wanting to watch Ghost of GFs past. I've promised Mikey I'll watch it with him... MIKE NOW YOU BETTER WATCH IT WITH ME SOON. (soon meaning sooner than soon :D) Anyway I should finish this one episode of buffy then hit the sack because I have work tomorrow. Come find me if you want, I'll be wearing REALLY bright colours because that is apparently our theme... haha dont ask.

Uber work

I've been working everyday since Wednesday until Sunday.

Then on the 24th I'm doing this PCN/Inventory which takes VERY long. Last time I did it for menswear department and I got home at 5am. Wheeee. *overtime pay!*

For some odd reason, I've been obsessed with light-pink-almost-nude coloured lipsticks and I finally found the perfect one! Rimmel Long Lasting Lipstick in Airy Fairy (#070). I've been doing my research on nude lipsticks and I read a LOT of good reviews on this, and they were SO right. (Funny side note: I bought it at Shoppers and they had only TWO left. Apparently it was on sale and they didn't have any sign saying so so I was happy about the total I paid because it's lower than what I expected. Obv I was meant to have it hehe) I love love love it!

It gave me a major headache and probably increased my grade. It was super red then and it's still slightly red now. Also, I would randomly not see for a good couple of seconds and yeah... Good job Jaimee! (Y)

It was my little brother's confirmation today (well yesterday... since its 12am already). It made me reminisce of my confirmation. It feels like it was just yesterday but really it's been four years. I'm getting so old haha. I miss simple times back then. Life wasn't so stressful and rushed. Now, it's always do this as fast as you can so you can do the next thing; and it never stops. I just want to take a long ass break from everything where I do absolutely nothing but relax.
