So I ordered more from eyeslipsface.com and just got my stuff in the mail today. This is by no means bragging of what I bought but for those of you out there who want to know about elf products or those of you who buy overpriced products from other brands such as Mac (ahem Rheena :P) can find out that you can get high quality products for so much cheaper. (umm I dont even know if that sentence made sense hahaha). And since I'm a loser with no life (Mike's at GI practice... -.-) I took pictures of swatches of some of them.

So my overall opinion on these new lippies are that they are all good for glosses especially the more neutral colours. I like the red ones because they actually show up on my lips while the rest just give my lips shine. The plumping lip glaze formula smells horrible (supposed to smell minty) and doesn't plump (or at least I don't notice it...). When I put it on, it's like putting a mint chapstick on it or something. The luscious liquid lipstick has the same bad smell as the plumping one. I LOVE the smell of the Hypershine glosses though. It really does smell like cotton candy!!! :D As for the Super glossy lip shine, I have 3 in other colours and the smell is okay. It's described as grape vanilla, which it does. Also, they are a bit sticky... but I guess you get your dollar's worth lol.

Eye Shadow Brush ($1)
I obviously had to get another one of this because I love it! It's great for packing on eyeshadow and you obviously can't beat the price! But my new one is longer than the my other one and the bristles are a bit pointier in the middle (i don't mean sharp but the shape of it if that makes sense... )

Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance ($1)
This is an AWESOME highlighter. No chunks of glitter and gives great results yayyy



Concealer pencil and brush in fair ($3)
The formula on this really does cover. But it comes with this stupid sharpener cover on it and stupid me tried it and it made it so dirty. Do not use that sharpener if you want to keep it clean..



Studio Complexion Brush ($3)
The studio brushes are AMAZINGLY soft. The $1 total face brush is a lot bigger than this though but I use this to highlight above my cheekbones.


Studio Powder Brush ($3)
I've heard from Connie that this is good for stippling on foundation. I tried today and she is right! I can stipple all day because this feels so nice on my face!! LOL




Studio Contour Brush ($3)
I was expecting this to be a bit smaller than the $1 one but the $1 is a bit softer which makes it a bit harder to pack on colour.

Studio Blush Brush ($3)
I was expecting this to be a bit bigger for some reason... Like my cheeks aren't big and this seems to be a bit small for my cheeks. I hated the $1 one because it feels prickly and barely picks up any product.


Mineral Booster Large-Sheer ($8)
I had to get another one of this because I'm halfway done mine. This is a great finishing powder and the first mineral powder that does not break me out... I'm still scared to try mineral makeup though ever since my experience with Everyday minerals..


Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer ($3)
Holy begeez they didn't have this in my package and I was super annoyed. At least they have good customer service where I got someone to fix it right away.

PS. They sent me this clarifying pressed powder in tone 1 which I didn't order.. I guess they mistakenly put this one in instead of the primer.. haha oh well sucks for them. :) This pressed powder is supposed to blot oil and I guess it works?
PPS. Keep in mind that I just got these today looool. And yes I washed the brushes before using them. Do NOT ever use brushes without washing them first, no matter where you bought them from (elf, sephora, mac etc).

Me and Nerissa were these two lame girls in the back crying. Oh man we're getting old... I remember movie nights with this girl like 5 years ago. Woooow....

LUSH ♥

I used to always pass by and suffocate from the heavy smell from the store but I finally went in the store with Mike and we found the coolest and the weirdest stuff there. My goal was to get the Porridge soap because I've read from Connie that it is amazing! And ahhh I wanted to get home asap so i can try it. Haha and for those of y'all that do know me well, I would take a shower once a day before I leave the house, and usually I'm too lazy. But now, I would take random showers just to use this soap (even though I just bought it like today.. well yesterday officially.. i ought to stop blogging at 3 in the morning so it's not so awkward lol). Anyway, the soap is super lather-y (is that a word? lol), which means a lot of product is used per shower therefore i need to get more (this is how i think when it comes to buying stuff haha :D aka a "reason" to buy more). I was so tempted to get the Rockstar one because it was PINK and it smelled YUMMY. I actually got a sample of Godmother which I want to eat! (I wonder if Mike ate a piece of his hahahaha... ?) Porridge feels soooo nice. It actually has real oats in it that gently exfoliates your skin. My skin's sensitive and prone to breakouts so I didn't want to use something with a heavy scent just yet. I use this soap for my face too and then I put my St.Ives moisturizer on top. It feels so soft ahhh! Anyway here are some of the other stuff from there that I want to try:

I have finally finished the series. I've seen it before when I was still in the Philippines (like more than 7 years ago wooow) and I never got to finish it. I think I tired once a couple years ago and failed because I got pissed off at an episode and yeah hahaha. It has been my favourite anime and still is. Most people think it's really corny but I love it! I even got Mike to watch it and he cries at the same parts I cried (maybe more... secretly :P) hahaha. I don't think I'm supposed to tell anyone that my badddddddd ily too :D

Oh and so I'm trying to have my hair wavy/curly when I wake up so I took a shower at 3am and braided my hair into 4 sections and I look super silly right now hahaha. No pictures because really I don't even want to see myself like this.

that I've been working everyday this week except Monday and Thursday... wtf? Two of my coworkers in my department are on vacation, my sales lead just had her grandson so she's off for two weeks and really all I've been left to work with... let's not go to that. So my sales lead left another person from her other department in charge of MY department... It's basically I do all the work, have all the knowledge, and I am not in charge. I don't want to be in charge but at least put someone from the department to do it because right now, I feel like she's getting a bit bossy over me who knows more than her just because she's soo buddy buddy with the sales lead. Haha whatever work drama is fucking stupid anyway.

I had a dentist appointment today (well yesterday now whatever) and I haven't really had time to go for a while now. Bad Jaimee I know... Anyway last time I went they suggested me to get braces and I'm like meh whatever... and today they told me again. Friggg braces hurt (or so I've been told... ahem Mike.) Also I think one of my wisdom teeth are growing (finally... not that I want it) on my lower left... yaaaay...

The 120 eyeshadow palette I bought from eBay finally got here. When I opened it, the very middle green one was rubbing off on the plastic cover but that was no biggie. But when I separated the two palettes, the third blue on the top right and the second one in the bottom left (flesh colour) were completely depotted into ashes :( Also a bit of the matte black (2nd on top right) too. Anyway I love the colours and I probably won't use all of them until who knows when? Haha. They are VERY pigmented and overall I'm glad I bought it. Mike always has to remind me to not buy any more eyeshadows because I have this palette already.. but really a girl can never have too many right? :D (Same goes with brushes lol... I still want that Sigma brushes set... GAH I'm broke FML).

• Not yet lol. I bought the manly 120 eyeshadow palette on ebay a couple of days ago and as usual, I am bein impatient. Come to me already!!! >.< (Yes a hundred and twenty colours :O!)
• I love Annabelle eyeliners. They glide on so easily and yeahhh <3>
• I just bought the Covergirl Lash Blast Waterproof mascara because my maybelline volume express is dried up. Don't get me wrong but I liked the volume express except for the fact it dries up so fast! (No matter how tight i I recap it...) All the maybelline mascaras I've tried haven't disappointed me yet anyway (except the infamous Great Lash one hahaha I actually thought this was good way back when... uhh Grade 9! hahaha). So I'm hoping CG will agree with me :)
  
• Burt's Bees lipbalm makes my lips so nice and soft, but I got the Honey one thinking it would smell AWESOME. However, the smell is not the best smell.... BLAH.
  
• One of the ONLY reasons I like cleaning my room is reminiscing through useless stuff that should be in the garbage but I refuse to get rid of them hehe. I actually found my nivea pearl and shine lip balm which has the nicest shine and colour to it. I would actually put on the ELF gloss in Malt Shake and that has the nicest result ahhh! love love love <3>
• I am planning to completely redecorate my room. Ikea actually has a program that lets you design your room online. Here's my plan :
  Yes I crappily drew that desk in myself because it is one of the things on there that I already own and not from Ikea. I pretty much just need that bed frame and the two wall shelves. Also I plan to buy/make a rolling rack to organize my clothes (and they look awesome too), a chest of drawers, a cute lamp, and a small bookcase! That's a good 400-500 dollars right there.. that's awesome! Maybe I should consider getting new curtains too because what I have right now is boring shades blehhh! I also wanna repaint my room but I doubt my parents would let me because of my asthma... I never get what I want do I... :( sad sad sad

• Where can I find Monistat Chafing Gel? No I don't need it for the purpose it is made for. I heard that it's a really good face primer since it has pretty much the exact ingredients as any high end brand primers. I know they have it for sure at drugstore.com and well.ca. But yeah... i don't know why I don't buy it there now lol. I'm difficult I know...

It's been half a year already? Time just flies by when I'm with you. We've been through so much together. We've had our stupid fights and in the end we both give up and even forget what we're fighting about and laugh about it. Most people probably think we're crazy or that I'm super needy and bitchy. But you never cared, you stuck with me through and through and I couldn't ask for anything more. We do talk too much to each other but you're the only one that I can talk to forever. Our old jokes never get old. We would be laughing at the same thing for the longest time and it's like the first time we made the joke. Thank you Michael Andama for everything. You have changed my life, like a new light that's newly lit. You make me see everything in a brighter light. So there's a major clearout sale at Sears from today til Sunday. It's 40% off on top of red-ticketed prices (which are like cheap already). Then I get my 20% employee discount on top of that. I ended up getting a pair of these really CUTE pink shoes, a big hobo brown bag, and shorts for Jasmine. It wouldve came out over 60 bucks but I got it all for about 33 with tax. Blahh I can't find any pictures online and I'm too lazy to take pictures so... oh well.

It's Ribfest weekend also so Square one has a sidewalk sale. Friggg so much for saving money. Gah tomorrow's gonna be hell. (Well officially later but u know what i mean). Lucky me working 8-2 only... which means I got to sleep now because I have to get up at 6... FML.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince *maybe spoiler read at own risk*

This is how it went down!
Mike came to my house earlier than expected because Damon dropped him off. Then we waited for the 61 and got off at Central Library since I had a book on hold there (the 13th tale.) We also got some DVD's for Jasmine (Barney, Elmo, and Baby Einsteins lol). Then we went to square one and passed by Bubble Tease and decided to get a Large Strawberry Iced Green tea with tapioca. We then headed to Arby's to stock up on food so we won't be hungry during the movie. LOL. What I ate that whole day was so unhealthy hahaha oh well. We got to the theatre at 5:30 and we showed the lady our ticket. She thought it was for tomorrow (which it officially is but still she was wrong I was right). Then some lady that looked like a manager said we were way too early. FUCK YOU. I want good seats obviously I'd come early. (more than 6 hours early haha). We were told to come back at around 9 because they won't be letting people in yet until then. Clearly they haven't worked for the other midnight openings for Harry Potter. DOUCHEBAGS. We decided to eat the Arby's food we had and after we finished that, we went to the arcade. I showed my MAD skills in DDR... NOT. HAHA I'm probably one of the only asian you'll get to know that's horrible at it. My feet just are not coordinated. Then some racing game, which I came 4th place and Mike 7th HA. I'm better at racing and fighting games anyway. Try growing up with 2 brothers your whole life lol. So 9:00 took forever to come along but they actually were forced to let people in at 8:50ish because the lobby was so full. And of course people who just fucking got there ran and went ahead people who were there for a longer time. Then they let in their friends. FUCK YOU LITTLE KIDS. They could barely read when Harry Potter came out okay?! Save it for the true fans. I even wore my Harry Potter shirt and Gryffindored my nails!! Kristine came a bit after too and we played with her DS and sang along with my iPod until about 11 (the time they'll let us in the theatre). Mike and I bought the the Transformers combo (large popcorn and large drink) after eating the Arby's. And anything large size is unlimited refills. I'm surprised we didn't shit popcorn haha jokes ewww. Also, if you really know me well or have went to the movies with me more than once, that I put M&Ms with peanuts in my popcorn. It is the fucking bomb okay? It may sound gross but trust me it's good. Ask Mike and Kristine! So on to the movie...

Right when I heard the music, I screamed. The first time they showed Dan's face, I screamed. And again, I screamed. LOL. I can tell you when I screamed but it would probably super repetitive, you get the point. I loved it obviously and it may be my 2nd favourite (after HPPS) because the actors have gotten better at acting, and as far as I hate to admit it, Emma wasn't as bad as before.. FINALLY. I actually haven't read the book in a while and it's a bit rusty but I still remember the overall plot duhhh. A lot of the scenes actually were EXACTLY how I imagined it. For example, when Dumbledore and Harry were about to enter the cave. From the entrance and to the scenery inside, it is EXACTLY how I imagined it. Prof. Slughorn is one of those characters that I didn't put enough effort to imagine and I guess the actor passes up as him. He's very funny actually. As much as I enjoyed this movie, I am quite disappointed at a lot of the stuff they left out. Some of the stuff that are NECESSARY to understand the movie. So the title itself is the Half blood prince right? The movie didn't even show one bit of the trio trying to figure out who the prince is. They just solved it by having the prince say, "I'm the half blood prince." Yeah no shit, explain? Like people who have read the book would know already, but how about those lazy people (sorry if youre one of them) who don't bother to read because it's going to come out into a movie? It's one of those things like, it just is accept it? HAHA. Also, DUMBLEDORE'S FUNERAL. How can you NOT put that in?! One of the most important characters die and they don't even show the funeral for it? I swear there's a whole chapter for it. How about the battle at Hogwarts? WTF is the point of having death eaters enter through the vanishing cabinet if they just walk away? Like oooh scary... but there was a fucking BATTLE in the book. Would they honestly just stroll along Hogwarts without a fight? There WAS a fight but DAVID YATES decided to not add it in because there's another battle scene in the 7th book. Yeah are you stupid? It's a fucking war in the wizard world, there would obviously be continuous battles! If you're gonna have the 7th book into 2 movies, why does it matter anyway?! Of course he does what any other Hollywood director does: focus on the sexual attraction and romance because it "sells." Harry Potter sold millions and millions of dollars in the past movies without that bullshit anyway why start now?! And don't even get me started with Bonnie Wright. Ginny's character is supposed to be lively. She's supposed to show how Ginny has liked Harry for the longest time and now that he feels the same way, there's absolutely no passion in their kiss. Aww come on! Any girl would kill for your fucking position. You could have at least done a better job!!! And since I'm already talking about Harry's love life, what happened to Cho? HAHA no explanations either eh? Anyway I think I'm done ranting... for now. :) Congratulations if you actually read through this and understand what I just wrote. (Y)

old jeans

I had a pair of Guess jeans that has this blue and white snakeskin pattern on it that I NEVER wore. So I turned them into short shorts... Then I had the 2 pieces fabric for leg parts and I didn't really want to throw them away because it's such a nice pattern, I'm just not brave enough to wear it in pants. So I started cutting and was planning to turn it into a bag but I know I wouldn't really use it so I just stared at it for a while and looked at my laptop and it was a perfect fit for my laptop! I happen to be in need of a laptop sleeve but I refuse to pay 20-30 bucks for it. But I really need it because my laptop is badly scratched as it is. I still can't find the AC adaptor for my mini sewing machine and I had no batteries so I just hand sewed it... not the best but meh. I ended up sewing the letter J in pink thread to make it more me. :D (Sorry I didn't take a picture of the jeans before cutting it up, I wasn't really planning on blogging about it but I guess I am now lol.)

PS. wtf my mom put bleach on the bathroom floor and didn't bother on telling me. I kept smelling bleach I thought i was crazy but my feet smelled like fucking bleach. I tell her about it then she just tells me to wash it off. Friggg you know bleach fucking burns your skin? It's fucking corrosive! :@

So I needed a finishing pressed powder and I read in MUA that the Rimmel Stay Matte one is good and so I went to walmart to get it. I did this during the last 10 mins of my break... I thought I knew which one it was and now I realize it's the foundation I got -.- So if anyone wants a compact powder foundation to try let me knowwww. It's good but my face doesn't agree with it apparently lol... It's in Ivory (look at picture) which is just a little bit darker than me but if I blend it enough it's fine with my skin colour. Also in the picture, I had makeup on from 10am for work and I just put this on top... maybe I should try it by itself.... mehhh... but still if you wanna try it... Also you won't be getting the sponge it comes with obviously for hygienic purposes.

We got ourselves a clan. Mikey and Cid are acrobats, I'm a mage, Jesse and Chelle are healers yayyy. :) Once we're all level 20, we're gonna freakin fly everywhere!! Aww we need a name!!!!

makeup update

For my face:

I recently bought St. Ives Moisturizer because I never really put on any moisturizer before but I decided to try it. I read reviews on MUA and they reviewed this one pretty well. Also the price is so cheap so that's another plus. I use it in the morning/before putting up makeup and at night after I wash my face. It "wakes" up my face and it feels nice :)


Then I got the Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer just the other day since my MUFE primer was nada for so long now. It has an orange kind of tint and I was like wtf primers are usually clear right? But it was like 6 bucks so why not? I dont know if it's this product or my face being weird again but my face is sometimes itchy in random spots but anyway I'm gonna try it out for about another week or so and find out.


I use the Physicians Formula Twin Concealer (green and beige)and I really like it because I need both the green (for redness) and beige for blemishes and undereye circles. It never broke me out so that's good. I sometimes use the E.L.F. concealer (I think it's the medium shade) and it smells like oranges (yummm) but the packaging is weird. It's that twisty tube thing and sometimes when I twist it, it doesnt go up but like it comes off idk it's weird but not a biggie. I also sometimes use the Clinique concealer (which I thought was a weird shade of lipstick before haha) and it's really thick but I'm just kinda eery about it since I don't know how old it is. (I think it's been discontinued as well. The picture I put up has different packaging from mine... maybe I shouldn't use it anymore lol...)



Then my Revlon Colortstay foundation in Natural Tan. I bought a new foundation brush because the E.L.F. one I got is horrible after a while. It's like stiff now and you're better off blending with your hands. I got the Ecotools Bamboo Foundation brush which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! It's super soft and super easy to blend foundation with. It's also organic so yayyy! :)

canada day

This is my best one so far because it's the first time I got to ACTUALLY spend it. I would usually just stay at home to do nothing and july 1st is usually an ordinary day for my family so we don't do anything for it but stay home. I went with Mike to civic centre @ 12 because his crew's performing. I wanted to be one of the first to watch him and to support him. He had to dance every hour for 15 minutes from 1-8. And since he is so SMART, the only food he brought was a bag of cheetos. I had a mission with peeps for lunch and eventually ate by 4 and that's around the time I found out Mike hasn't eaten yet so I bought him Quiznos Sub "so not like subway." Anyway, I went back to civic centre to give him his food. Chelle, Belle, Mattie, and Kristine met up with me there. We stayed for the fireworks, which reminded me of the good ol' days in the Philippines during New Year's. I def missed fireworks. Cid, Rheena and her friend also came by. So I get in trouble from the rents because I left my house at 9 and got home at 12. xD It's not my fault there was this accident thing, which I'm not sure if it was an accident but anyway yeah it held traffic and we couldn't leave for a while. Blehhh I'm tired and lacking of sleep night night!

I feel like after High School, I've lost a couple of my good friends due to conflicting schedules and laziness. I've tried to spend some time with them but they end up saying they got "work" or "family thing." This sucks... But I guess c'est la vie right? You gain some, you lose many. :(

funny story

I was walking to my bus stop in the morning and it started to rain... my bus stop has no shelter and it started to pour. Smart jaimee didn't check the tv for weather so I didn't know it was gonna rain so therefore no umbrella or sweater or jacket. This filipino lady stops and asks if I wanted a ride. I was like whatever fine. Haha so much for not talking to strangers right? But hahaha I felt like it so I took the free ride to work. Anyway, Im alive right? It shows there are still good people out there in the world.... And that I'm really dumb sometimes for believing everyone is good. :)

5 months!

The past couple of days were complicated and weird but I'm glad we got through it. It's not so easy being mad at you when you're in front of me. I just can't stay mad. Lol I even forgot what we were fighting about (gaaay i know.) So fine you still wont tell me your damn surprise... I have to wait freaking like 7 hours then another 15 hours... GR. You know how much I hate surprises. And btw, you SUCK at hexic. :) Or maybe I'm just too damn good BRAPPP. (K never again).

PS. I need to get out more often. I feel like such a prisoner from work and home. :(

foundation

My HG foundation is MUF's HD Foundation in 128 or 155. IT's like $40 a bottle and that bottle would usually last me 4-5 months (since my mom also uses it sometimes.) I was wondering if there was another foundation I could use that is more affordable, but also reasonably good. I read tons of reviews on MUA and Youtube and I kept reading good reviews on the Revlon Colorstay so I decided to try it. (in Natural Tan) It's actually pretty decent and half the price of MUF's HD. I think the colour's a bit light but I can fix that with a bronzer. It didn't break me out which is a major plus because I think Everyday minerals kind of did (but I still like the finish of it, minus the minor breakout) and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (I ended up using it as an eyeshadow primer, and also Maybelline Pure Makeup, . I recommend it though if you want a foundation that's not overly priced. Also, I found out that you can mix a high end foundation with a drugstore one to last you that foundation longer which I tried doing today but the Revlon seem to have overpowered MUF but that's okay.
